Hatha yoga is the branch of yoga that concentrates on perfecting our body, mind and breath. By holding the body in a series of yoga postures we stretch and strengthen our muscles and tone our internal organs. As we hold the yoga pose comfortable and steady, listening to our breath, we learn how to tune out the distractions of life and become fully present.  Practicing yoga teaches us to listen to how we feel physically, mentally and emotionally.
